  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 shredded zucchini (about 1 cup)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp dried minced garlic
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray your casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, shredded zucchini, egg, minced garlic, basil, salt, and mix until well-combined.
  3. Form approximately 24 meatballs from the mixture and place them evenly in the prepared casserole dish.
  4. Bake for about 30 minutes or until cooked through; drain any excess liquid.

  6. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
