  • 1 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 2 cups warm water (divided)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons maple extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine ½ cup of warm water with xanthan gum. Whisk until thickened.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix the remaining warm water and Swerve brown sugar substitute. Once hot, whisk in the xanthan gum mixture until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in maple and vanilla extracts. Let cool before serving or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
