  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 3/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts of choice
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare your pan by spraying a brownie bar pan or square pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix almond meal, coconut flour, and maple syrup until crumbly. Gradually add milk until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan and refrigerate.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine maple syrup and coconut oil for the caramel layer. Heat until mixed and whisk well.
  4. Pour the caramel over the nougat layer and top with crushed nuts before freezing to set faster.
  5. Melt chocolate chips until smooth, then dip each bar in chocolate until covered. Refrigerate until hardened.
