  • 56 cups broccoli florets
  • 12 oz cooked gluten-free noodles
  • 1/2 cup coconut aminos (or soy sauce)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot starch
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp fresh minced ginger
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp avocado or olive oil
  • 1/3 cup low sodium beef or veggie broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sea salt, to taste (skip if using soy sauce)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onion for garnish
  • Chili oil for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking together coconut aminos, sesame oil, arrowroot starch, honey, garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook broccoli with oil for 5-8 minutes until bright and tender. Remove from the pan.
  3. Add more oil to the skillet; cook the flank steak for 2-3 minutes per side until medium rare. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Reduce heat; combine broccoli, noodles, broth, and sauce in the skillet. Stir well and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve topped with sesame seeds and green onions.
