  • 4 slices thick cut Turkey Bacon (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (pounded to ¼-inch thickness)
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper (to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked or sweet paprika
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ½ teaspoon dried chives
  • 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Sliced green scallions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook diced Turkey Bacon until crispy; remove and set aside.
  4. Add vegetable oil to the remaining bacon fat in the skillet. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook for about 2–3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and add butter; cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Arrange cooked chicken in the baking dish.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dill weed, and chives until smooth.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over each chicken breast and top with half of the crispy Turkey Bacon pieces.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over each breast.
  9. Bake uncovered for about 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temperature) and cheese is melted.
  10. Garnish with remaining Turkey Bacon, parsley, and scallions before serving.
