  • 4 slices thick-cut turkey bacon
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ head cauliflower
  • 3 cups organic beef bone broth
  • ⅓ cup heavy cream
  • 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Italian herb seasoning
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large high-sided skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy (6-7 minutes). Drain excess grease and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef with seasonings for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add chopped cauliflower and beef broth; simmer covered for 6-8 minutes until cauliflower is tender.
  4. Remove from heat; temper heavy cream with a bit of hot soup before stirring back into the pot.
